Both volumes recased with new endpapers to match original yellow glazed endpapers, half titles preserved; cover blind-tooling neary imperceptible, extremities a bit rubbed and faded, spine crowns reinforced to match (though affecting gilt ruling); Vol. I plates uniformly dampstained, apparently before binding. Still, a Very Good, sound set. GIMBEL A150; SMITH 15.
