An extensively illustrated album of the war productions of this Lincoln engineering company during the First World War. The company, before the war, produced agricultural machinery and oil engines, traction engines, etc. Its productions during the war consisted of munitions carriers, gun mountings, shells & bombs, tank engines, lethal gas apparutas and aeroplanes. Illustrated with drawings on all pages illustrating aspects of the military use of its productions. Several tipped in plates. A number of pages have small (1cm) closed tears to their lower margins, without loss, where a reader has turned the page close to the hinge. Minor wear to boards and a previous owners details (1952) to rear of title.
