South Africa: United Tobacco Cosin association with] United Tobacco, Westminster Tobacco, Policansky Brothers, 1940. First Edition . Coth Without D.j. As Issued. Text in English & Afrikaans. Lacking the metal plate with stylised design of protea, on the cover. But all the small plates (100 in all and complete are included along with 8 mounted colored plates affixed. Marginal line-drawings throughout printed in pale orange. Pictorial endpapers. I'm dating it as 1940 as there is a gift inscription on the front endsheet that is dated 1941. There is a touch of wear to the points of the cloth but otherwise this is a nice vg copy of a lovely floral book.
