The covers are rubbed and heavily stained. The tail of the spine is chipped. 100 pages, with a full-page frontispiece and 4 textual illustrations by William Morton. The front hinge is cracked opposite the title page. A previous owner's name is penned on the verso of the frontispiece. The pages are soiled and stained along the margins. Good.
First edition.
Richard Wright Procter was a barber, poet, and author. This work consists of historical sketches of racing and sporting life in Manchester.
