A complete official report of the reconstruction of Tokyo & Yokohama, stricken by an earthquate 1st September 1923. It was a gigantic work, unparalleled in the history of city planning of the world. The report does not only supply vas information on the technical side of the reconstruction-work but also on the financing of the undertaking by foreign aid from the U.S.A.(US.dollar loan), England, private & commercial reconstruction expenditures, state of payment of business tax, number of factories and workers, economic condition in general, foreign trade, state of the Circulation of Money, Deposits in and Advances by the Bank of Japan.
