Red coloured boards with black entwined author's initials to the lower right-hand corner of the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper with red and blue coloured titles to the front panel and yellow and green coloured titles to the backstrip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear panel. A historical romance by Jeffrey Farnol. Minor bumping to the head and to the heel of the backstrip and rubbing to the book corners. Light tanning of the textblock edges and pages and there are a few foxing spots to the textblock edges. Offset tanning and faint foxing of the end pages. The dustwrapper is showing age and wear – please see photograph. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. Tears and pieces missing from the dustwrapper edges with quite noticeable rubbing along the fold over creases and either side of the backstrip. Rubs marks and scrapes to the front panel and there is a tear that goes across the full width of the backstrip at the head of the backstrip and at the lower edge. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
