Soundly bound in publisher's pale blue cloth backed spine and glazed chromolithograph illustrated paper over boards. Darkening/shelf soiling to edges of the front board with light toning to the cream colored paper covering the boards. Usual fading to the paterns of the front and rear flyleaf endpages. Cloth crimped and slightly frayed at spine ends; boards rubbed with mild rounding and rubthrough at corner tips. Jessie Watkins chromolithograph color illustrations throughout, including full page blates and in text designs. Some illustrations in toned lithograph printing. Prior ownership penciled to front pastedown. Sound copy with clean bright contents. Charming. VG- thus .
