Pages bright with some tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Binding remains firm. Some page corners folded. Previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners, crushing to spine ends and rubbing and moderate staining all over. Spine sunned and tanned. Gilt lettering to spine is heavily dulled but remains bright on front. Boards are slightly bowed. Book has slight forward lean.
