Oxford: J. Skelton, 1823. Two volumes (complete) Oxonia Restaurata with Pietas Oxoniensis in a single uniform volume. Contemporary half morocco and curl marbled paper over boards, raised bands, spines in seven panels, title in gilt to second panel, author / volume to fourth, remaining panels with central floral spray in gilt, place and date to foot of spine in gilt, t.e.g., curl marbled endpapers. Slightly rubbed to extremities, spines very slightly faded. Internally some light spotting, usually to margins but occasionally to the plate images. The Oxonia Antiqua has a folding engraved plan of Oxford and one hundred and thirty-four plates by Skelton, beginning with plate twenty-six and continuing up to plate one hundred and fifty seven (plates two - twenty-five were never issued), with two plates unnumbered and all but two plates on India paper, a large paper copy. The Pietas has an engraved title and twenty-four plates / portraits all on india paper and is also a large paper copy. Lowndes 2409; Cordeaux and Merry - University - 315. First Edition.
