Presentation copy (editor's inscription to original ffep). Some shelf wear and scuffing to boards, severe creasing to spine. Handwritten title labels to spine. Previous owner's inscription to ffep (originally front wrap). Hinges are cracked and noticeably damaged. Original wraps are significantly worn, chipped, and smudged. Ex-Library stamps, some pencilled underlining and margin notes to text. Altogether a useful working copy. (Subject: Ancient, Roman Literature.)
