Sobre este artículo

Frankfurt: Andreae Wecheli, 1584. Hardcover. 16mo. Full calf with gilt edges and spine with gilt lettering and raised bands. 142pp. Marbled endpapers. Very good. Small splitting at spine head and tail, else boards tight and sound and internally quite nice. Later German printing, entirely in Latin, of this text first published in Paris in 1559, whose title translates roughly as "P. Pami, Royal Professor of Eloquence and Philosophy, Book of the Habits of the Ancient Gauls, to Charles the Cardinal of Lorraine." Rami (1515-72) was a French educational reformer, logician and humanist who authored many influential texts on topics as far ranging as grammar, rhetoric, mathematics, philosophy and more and whose best known work is the 1543 "Aristotelicae Animadversiones." BRUNET IV, 1099.
