Later in his life he was institutionalised for alleged schizophrenia, which some psychiatrists have said can been seen in his works.This story showcases Wain's famous cat illustrations. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with some bumping to the spine and extremities. Some light marks to the boards and spine. Front hinge has failed, rear hinge is a little strained. Internally, binding is strained in places. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean with some odd spots. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
