In 1983, the Museum of Cultural History at the University of California signed an agreement with the Instituto Nacional de Cultura in Peru to develop a five-year archaeological research project at Pacatnamu, a spectacular ancient city located on the North Coast of Peru. This volume is the first publication on the results of that research. Off-white card cover with black titling and illustration, black and white frontispiece, illustrated throughout with black and white photographs, diagrams and maps, as well as several colour plates, folded map in pocket at back of book, 188 pages. Cover has minor edge wear and shelf wear, a few tiny, pale spots of discolouration, small, light bump to lower front corner which continues through the first few pages, book is clean and tight. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees.
