With interesting passages on Yosemite, San Francisco's Chinatown, Lake Tahoe, Yellowstone Park, and more. Written by Henry Theophilus Finck, a prolific and respected music critic who wrote for the 'New York Evening Post' and 'The Nation'.Instructional label, for the Potter's Subscription Library Liverpool, to the head of the front board. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, a little worn. Institutional label to the head of the front board. Bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine is a little faded. Minor rubbing and some light marks to the boards and spine. Front hinge is weak. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot. List of illustrations is detached but present. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
