Sobre este artículo

Automobile Quarterly Library, 1978. Third Printing of the First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Lacking. Stout oblong 4to. Pp. 828. Lavishly illustrated with black and white and color photos, reproducing car images, color posters, but also ephemera including production memos, advertising, sales brochures, etc. An appendix provides a roster of Packard cars built from 1899-1958. Bibliography. Index. Lacking dust jacket. Former owner name and address on front pastedown. Slight snag to head of spine, professionally repaired. Laid in is a four-page brochure documenting the discovery of General MacArthur's 1942 Packard, which had been stowed in a Texas garage, no bibligraphical data included, as well as three business cards relating to Packard in the year 1940. All three business cards appear to be facsimiles. A comprehensive treatment of the automobile manufacturer, informed by essays from eminent automotive historians covering various aspects of the firm's history. The book is now protected with a clear, archival sleeve.
