Frontispiece, protected by tissue guard. REcolored b/w photograph laid in to p. 85. Great historical work. Magnificently illustrated with 26 full-page b/w paintings (including frontis) and throughout with b/w in-text paintings and sketches. In English. In overall good- condition.
