Dark green cloth-covered beveled boards with frame embossed in blind to front and back. Gilt title to front. Publisher's red edges. Rubbing to extremities. Scuffing to front board, and light stains to spine and rear board. Two inches of spine bubbled from moisture stain. Black endpapers. Spotting to frontispiece and title page. Light age-toning to pages. From the author's inscription: "In the hope that the present Corps will follow in the footsteps of their ancestors."
