Plates are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Paper folder is lightly rub worn and thumbed with light shelf wear to edges and corners. Light creases to corners and spine.

Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi 1960. 34.0 x 27.0cms, 88pp, b/w & some colour illusts, very good paperback The articles are: an ivory figure from Te; some iconographic elements of pre-medieval temples; 2 illustrated manuscripts from the Bhagavata Dasamaskandha; terracottas from former Bikaner state; the religious significance of the Gupta terracottas from Rang Mahal; some interesting sculptures from Devangana, Rajasthan.

Large format loose leaf paper binder with string tie containing four page descriptive text and six loose leaf pages with tipped in full color prints on each. The prints are different sizes but all similar to the first, which measures 8 1/2 "" X 8 1/2"". Prints are as follows: The white elephant, circa 1580; An encampment scene circa 1600; Bahar falls from his horse circa 1600; Camel fight circa 1610; An imaginary meeting etween jahangir and Shah Abbas of Persia, c. 1618; A Mughal beauty C. 1640. Prints are all in excellent condition, the paper they are mounted to is age toned and an occasional corner shows some wear, the folder is stained and tattered with lots of edgewear and tears at the folds. Prints are suitable for mounting.

Card folded portfolio with ribbon ties. Portfolio contains four pages of descriptive text by Moti Chandler and six tipped in colored plates. Text is in English. Plate I: The White Elephant; Plate II: An Encampment Scene; Plate III: Bahar falls from his horse; Plate IV: Camel fight circa; Plate V: An imaginary meeting between Jahangir and Shah Abbas of Persia; Plate VI: A Mughal Beauty. Folder is in very good condition. Plates proper are all in fine condition and remain bright and clean; borders of mats have an occasional light crease, thumb marking, age toning, tape marks and pin-pricks.
