Sobre este artículo

London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1989. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Near Fine. 9" by 5.5". None. The first edition, first impression of this exciting tail of art thieves and terrorism from Michael Gilbert. The first edition, first impression of this crime fiction from English solicitor and novelist Michael Gilbert, in the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.A thrilling novel following a young man as he encounters a conspiracy to steal an early Italian triptych in rural France, and encountering public school's, astrology centres and terrorist organisations.A prolific writer, Gilbert's earlier works were set in courtrooms and the offices of lawyers, with his later novels following police investigations and criminal acts. By the time of his death, he had published over thirty novels. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Boards in excellent condition, with light spotting to fore edge of text block. Dust wrapper in lovely condition, with light spotting to reverse. Internally, firmly bound. The odd light spot to first few leaves, with pages otherwise clean and bright. Very Good Indeed
