Beautifully painted book cover featuring a miniature of Girolamo Savonarola, after the portrait by Fra Bartolomeo in the Museo di S. Marco, surrounded by floral decoration with illuminated dots.
Slight soiling to edges and ties, ribbon worn; near fine.
