Bottom fore-corners slightly bumped. Text block edges have some foxing, heavier along the top. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust wrapper has a couple of scratch/indentation marks and light edge and corner wear. Back panel titles are possibly faded. Certainly the printing on it is light. Number 35 in the Oxford Children's Library series of books for older children. Tells the story of young Barty Dale and his adventures at sea as an apprentice seaman. Illustrated in pen and ink. .
