An attractive copy of O'Hara's fourth novel, recounting the "ups and downs of a second-rate crooner told in epistolary style" (Hanna 2703). Basis for George Sidney's 1957 musical comedy starring Frank Sinatra, Rita Hayworth, and Kim Novak. Bruccoli IV.1.
