Pp. 208; 32+ color photos, 36 full page black-and-white plates, many text-figures (line-drawings of artifacts, black-and-white photos of artifacts and caves, maps, charts). Original color pictorial stiff wrappers, lettered in black on the spine and front cover, sm 4to. This volume presents the results of a two symposia held in Paris, France and in Liege, Belgium in 2004. The volume contains 13 chapters by noted international authorities; the papers are in English and in French. The symposia participates visited archaeological sites in Nice, Les Eyzies, Tautavel and in Belgium. The volume is inscribed by Yung-jo Lee, the senior editor, on the front endpaper.
