Sixteenmo (5.875 x 4.5 inches; 150 x 115 mm.). Eight unpaginated leaves. In-text portrait of John Kendrick Bangs, decorative head- and tailpieces. Disbound, side-stitching removed and newly, but discreetly, respined; original self-wrappers and cover-title, printed in red and black. Wrappers with a touch of wear, a few old tears since professionally mended; rear wrapper very lightly soiled. Very good. Edited by Will H. Clemens. "The Panama Railroad" first published in book form two years later in Sixty and Six Chips from Literary Work Shops (also edited by Will Clemens). (#10189).
