canyon, TX: Panhandle-Plains Historical Society, 1941. First Edition . Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Volume XIV of this historical periodical, very good in the original wraps with a portrait of James W. Abert by Harold Bugbee on the front cover. Brown covers are a little soiled and have light wear at edges. Lt. Abert's journal of 1845 is the only article in the publication. Laid in is a folded map of the route of Lt. Abert's party across the Southern Rockies and New Mexico (the map is about 21" x 15").
