Bladwin provides a history of the Gods of ancient Greece and Rome, providing the historical origin of the gods, the worshipping practices and ceremonies of the ancients and the author attempts to explain the ancient poetry of the classics and the historic mythology that influenced many Greeks and Romans. Fair Condition. Brown leather covered boards. Previous owner's pen inscripton to front free end paper and verso of frontispiece. General pen markings to prelims and rear end paper. Binding is firm and pages are moderately tanned. Very light pencil markings to occasional pages. Rear board is detached but is present, otherwise boards have light edge-wear with some bumping to conrers. Spine is sound with minor scuff to edge. Book is lightly cocked.
