Sobre este artículo

The Saalfield Publishing Co, 1909. Hardcover. Acceptable. Edith A. Root's early-century, over-sized "dollhouse" book with illustrations (furniture, etc.) that can be cut out and mounted in any of nine different rooms. Full-color lithographs comprise an entire house. Root deliberately limited the number of illustrations so that the house could be customized and furnished with illustrations cut out from magazines and other sources. Rare. No copies appear in WorldCat library database at the time of this posting. 30 pp. 15 5/8" x 10". Tight copy with considerable shelf wear. Corners bumped and worn through, as are about half the edges. Hinges pulled away from backing somewhat, not affecting binding integrity. First two leaves show evidence of having been detached and competently reattached. Two small crayon markings noted. Lacks one leaf of illustrations which have been cut out and mounted to one of the rooms. All other illustrations intact. All other rooms empty. A reasonably presentable copy of a difficult to find children's book. Photographs of or additional information about this item are available on request. All inquiries answered promptly.
