Brown endpapers. 224 pp 8vo. Russell arrived in Montana in 1880 to work on cattle ranches and sharpen his artist skills. Seeing the Old West disappear before his eyes, he began to document the Old West in his paintings and sculptures. This book is full of his artwork and illustrated letters and notes he wrote to friends. A clean very presentable copy.
