Sobre este artículo

Effingham Wilson, London., 1835. First edition. Octavo. 216 pages. 12-page publisher's catalogue, dated January 1836, at rear. Original boards. A dramatic poem. On the half-title page is the ownership signature, dated 1836, of Charles Redwood a Welsh attorney who was a friend of Thomas Carlyle and may well have met Browning at Cheyne Walk where the latter was a frequent visitor.Front board detached but present. Covers bumped at the corners and rubbed. Spine darkened and spine label almost illegible. Good. Scarce in the original boards.
