DJ is ragged; faded front and back and toned on the spine; well worn edges, chipped, and torn, especially at the head and heel of the spine. Not price clipped. Blue cloth on boards. Bright gilt design on front, and bright lettering on spine. Corner tips are lightly worn, with shelf scraping to the bottom edges. Mashed spine end. Twist to spine, more apparent from the top edge. Former owner book plate on front paste down. Light toning to pages. Intermittent and very infrequent underlining and marginalia in pen and pencil. Staining to bottom corner pages from FFE to part II. Outside edge of text block has a few dings. Rough un-cut edges to outside text block. Good binding. Nice reading copy. 315 pages plus 12 page index. We will happily provide photos upon request.
