Nineteenth-century half gilt-ruled red morocco and marbled paper, gilt-stamped lettering and ornament in spine compartments (5 raised bands), t.e.g.; 8vo;. pp. xxiv, 96, 96 ("Eloge Historique de Milord Contenant"), plus 5 engraved plates. Some light scuffing at spine tips, along joints, raised bands, and edges of boards; boards lightly rubbed. First and last few leaves a bit dusty and darkened; otherwise just a little foxing here and there.
