Paris Herself Again in 1878-9 is a travel work by George Augustus Sala, an author and journalist who wrote extensively for Illustrated London News and for The Daily Telegraph. The work explores Paris in the years 1878-9, commenting on the Paris Universal Exhibition of 1878. Richly illustrated with three hundred and fifty illustrations throughout the text and a frontispiece. With two pages of adverts to the rear. Re-bound with the publisher's original cloth binding preserved. Externally, very smart with some fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
