Kit Carson," appearing on all subsequent issues. Wim Wenders' definitive film as a director, with an original screenplay by Sam Shepard that stands among his finest work as a novelist and a playwright. The film won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1984. This book, published simultaneously with the film, begins with a transcription of the final script in English, German, and French, and the last two-thirds present stills from the film alongside photographs taken on location by Wenders.
