Cream coloured boards, gilt titling and decoration to front board, also crest in red, black and gilt, no dustwrapper. 10ins x 8.75ins, 55pp plus 15pp plates. The families referred to in the title are the De Northwoods, De Valence, De Vere, Mortimer, Fitz Walter and Fitz Barnard families. Endpapers browned, some foxing/ browning to a couple of text pages. Front hinge cracked to top half. Cream boards rather grubby and soiled - spine browned. a G to G+ copy.
