Three volume set, comprising: The Passing Bells (1979), Circles of Time (1981), and A Future Arrived (1985) First editions 8vo Boards All with djs A trilogy, which begins in 1914, and concerns an English aristocratic family, their relatives and friends. The novels follows them through one world war and ends, in 1940, with the start of the second. An engrossing story with finely drawn characters. The condition of the set is overall very good or better. However, volume 1 has edges which are slightly foxed and there is a one-inch tear in the dj; volume 2 lacks a one-inch piece from the back-strip panel and a small piece from the front bottom of the dj; and the front cover of volume 3 is slightly discolored.
