The author has also sketched out a pen illustration of a house just above the inscription. Further to Tom Fox, (with his unobtrusive blind-stamp on the title page), the noted New Jersey Irish-Ameican author, collector and professor of Irish history and literature, Fox was called by Nicholas Basbanes, ",,, a kindred spirit...assembler of an uncommonly distinctive collection of Irish history and literature". The inscription reads, "For Tom Fox, with all best wishes, Henry Glassie. Charlottesville, Virginia. May 10, 2003. A gorgeous collectable copy with a very nice association and provenance.
