Cover is soiled and faded with minor scuffing at the head and tail of spine and corners. Top edge gilt, fore and bottom edges untrimmed. Spine sunned. Signed and numbered (194/750) on the editions page by the author and the artist. Minor foxing to endpapers. The b/w drawings by Edmund Kapp are reproduced in full-page images, facing various texts related to music. This is a heavy book and may require additional shipping charges (at cost).
