Bound in original cream colored wraps. Wraps very slightly soiled and creased at edges. Small old notes to front cover. A very good copy of this scarce early address on the state of the pre-Civil War Episcopal Church by the (then provisional) Bishop of New York and founder of the Church of St. John the Divine. One of his earliest works as a (provisional) bishop.
