Full tree calf (leather) binding would benefit from a rebacking; front board detached and spine has vertical creases as the text block is beginning to separate. Complete with large folding map facing title page (torn without loss) and 11 folding maps on 8 sheets. Previous owner's bookplate neatly on front paste-down endpaper.
