With frontispiece map to the Appendix. Collated, complete. Written by Edward Mogg, London publisher known for his issues of maps and travel guides to London. A complete and comprehensive nineteenth century travel guide. In quarter calf binding over marbled boards. Externally with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, chipped to extremities of boards, minor loss to marble covers to boards. Previous ownership pencil inscription to title page and in ink and pencil to front free endpaper, dated 1842. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor spotting to occasional leaf, particularly leaves of maps, otherwise pages generally very clean. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
