Octavo; pp; 24, illustrated with a frontispiece portrait and five black and white plates; sage cloth lettered in gilt in a red dust jacket, decortaed endpapers;. An appreciation of General John C. Fremont (1813-1890), the first separate printing of this article that appeared in the New York Historical Society Quarterly. This copy signed by Zabriske, a presentaion copy to "Celia" of an undefined limited edition as a Christmas gift.

At our shop we have a general stock of approximately 15,000 used, scarce and out-of-print books, with particular strength in American History, especially Theodore Roosevelt the West, Travel, Decorative Arts, Natural History, and Sporting. We also offer a selection of antique maps and prints, historical paper and ephemera.
