The book club edition published a year after first publication in book form by Rupert Hart-Davis.
Hardback in dustwrapper. 224pp. Size: 8 x 5 inches approx. (203mm x 130mm).
Dustwrapper lightly rubbed and worn; a little grubby and marked in places; age-toned and spotted, though mainly only visible to verso.
Foxing to front endpaper; lower corner of first few pages stained/foxed but otherwise pages clean throughout; dusty/spotted to top edge of page-block, spotting/foxing to fore-edge with some encroachment on to page margins.
Overall, light wear commensuate with age but otherwise a reasonably nice, clean copy. Uncommon, even in the book club edition.
