London: The Bodley Head, 1926. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Acceptable. First Edition. Red cloth with gilt spine lettering. Light rubbing to the cloth at the edges with a couple of faint spots to the front board. Red top stain. Purple bookseller's stamp to the rear endpaper. Book clean throughout, in a tight binding, only very lightly cocked. In the rare second issue dust jacket which has the price 3/6 on the spine, several large chips to the bottom edges, shallow chipping to the head of the spine, one large piece missing at the spine foot about 2 inches in size and a large tear along the front flap fold.
