This collection of recipes, home remedies, and personal descriptions of the times was gathered from the papers of Elisha Marshall Pease, Governor of Texas, 1853 - 1857, and his family and includes Governor's Pease's account of the first party given in the Governor's Mansion. Not seen in slipcase previously.
