Sobre este artículo
London: Published by Ashgate for The Hakluyt Society, 2011. Hardcover. xx, 501, ix, 429p., plates as called for, top-notch quality throughout, fine big hardbound items in 10x7 inch dark blue cloth boards gilt with rulings blind, enclosed in their dust jackets; a small bump affects one corner-tip of the second volume, otherwise both are perfectly sound, clean, unmarked copies. We believe our collector (massive holdings in cartography) never broached this late addition to his holdings. - Laid into one of the books is a related pamphlet, the Society's annual lecture for 2011, transcription of a talk by Manuel Joao Ramos entitled "Pedro Paez's History of Ethiopia: On Exploration, Refutation and Censorship", 15p., nice condition. Series III volumes 23 and 24.
