Killing an estimated 5 million people, it was felt the worst in the regions of the Ural and Volga rivers. Robert W. Dunn (1895 - 1977) was an author and political activist and Jessica Smith was a secretary at the Soviet Embassy in Washington, DC and and editor of Soviet Russia Today.
