New York: Pencil Points, 1932., 1932.. Very good. - Quarto, 11-7/8 inches high by 8-3/4 inches wide. Softcover, bound in printed white wrappers, titled in black on the front cover and with pictorial black & white ads on the verso. The covers are foxed with some stains to the front cover. There are minor chips to the spine. Pages 1-16; 597-652; and 25-46, with sections of pictorial ads at the front and rear. The periodical is profusely illustrated in color and black and white, including several full-page illustrations and plans, including a full-page plate of Edward D. Stone's pastel drawing of a "Preliminary Sketch for Roxy Theatre at Rockefeller Center, New York". The front hinge is cracked with rust stains from the staples to the inner edges of the first and last page. Very good. <p>The contents include Dwight James Baum's article "This Modernism", Samuel Chamberlain's "The Sketches and Woodcuts of Charles Hallo", Dorothy Brink Ingemann's "Shop Signs of Stockholm", Arthur Bates Lincoln's "A Plumbing System for the House", etc.
