Sobre este artículo

New York: Random House, 1967. Very good+ (bright silver printing on the spine, but some sunning of the cover edges and slight discoloration of the page top edges) in very good dust jacket (rubbed, price-clipped, edgeworn, now protected in Brodart archival plastic). Play about "murder of three believers in Civil Rights," as the dust jacket subtitle indicates. Sklar includes a disclaimer about "actual happenings of the summer of '64," indicating that his play is fictional, including the town of Leucadia. Nonetheless, the historical context is clearly the 1960s civil rights protests and the violence directed at civil rights workers. Sklar was blacklisted during the McCarthy era, and this represents his return to the theatre. Very nice Random House printing, 117 pages.. 1st Edition. Hard Cover.
