In green buckram cloth, with gilt decorations and gilt lettering on spine. Top edge gilt. 8vo. A large and heavy volume which may incur an additional charge for overseas delivery. Boards a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, a few mild marks, spine moderately sunned, mottled and worn around leading front and rear edges. Text block edges toned. Front hinge cracked, endpapers browning, else very mild toning on first and last few pages. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. A nice, solid and robust copy of this mammoth and authoritative work. Volume V of the Cambridge Natural History series.
