First edition. 8vo. 128 pp. Publisher's purple cloth, gilt lettered to the spine, dust jacket, inscribed by George on the first free endpaper "For Jean from Daniel (of whom she has almost made an optimist with love". A handful of black and white illustrations. A little light wear to the edges of the jacket, spotting to the verso of the jacket barely affecting its outer appearance, very good overall.
